Dr. Jason Beck believes that you should choose your surgeon based on their compassion and commitment to their patients in addition to their clinical expertise. Dr. Beck understands that any procedure, no matter how minor, can be intimidating and frightening to people of any age. Dr. Beck continuously strives to create a safe and comfortable experience for everyone. n oral and maxillofacial surgery today. In addition, he is certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, and Advanced Trauma Life Support. He has training in pediatric and adult anesthesia and offers these services for his patients in OMSAPC’s state of the art facilities.
Dr. Beck completed his undergraduate training at the University of Texas at Austin, then went on to obtain a DDS degree from UT Health Science Center in Houston receiving multiple academic and research awards and scholarships during his dental school career. He then found that his passions were in the field of oral and maxillofacial surgery and was accepted into the prestigious oral and maxillofacial surgery program in the largest and busie
st medical center in the world-the Texas Medical Center. During the next six years, he would go on to obtain an M.D. degree from the University of Texas Medical School, complete an internship in General Surgery through UT and then complete his training in anesthesia, neurosurgery, and oral maxillofacial surgery to receive his certificate. Training in the largest and busiest medical center in the world has exposed him to a broad surgical experience that was attained under the guidance of some world renowned surgeons, equipping him for the most challenging cases.
Although highly trained, Dr. Beck understands that oral surgery requires constant vigilance in keeping up with the latest advances in knowledge, materials and surgical techniques. He is active as both participant and lecturer in Continuing Education in his field and currently directs the Esthetic Alliance program-a study group for local dentists focusing on dental implants. His current interests include 3D technology, anesthesia, and dental implants. Additionally, this technology has been incorporated into every aspect of his oral surgery, whether sedating patients of any age or doing virtual surgery for placement of dental implants. Using the latest techniques, Dr. Beck is able to ensure you safely remain comfortable and relaxed throughout surgery, while receiving the best care possible.

A proud member of the McLennan County community, Dr. Beck is an active member of First Baptist Church where he leads Sunday School classes. He has been married to Karen, his high school sweetheart, for 13 years and they have three boys Ethan 7, Asher 5, and Caleb 2 who are also patients and his biggest fans. In his spare time, he enjoys the outdoors, fitness training, and hanging out with his family and friends.
